Questa escursione in bicicletta parte dal D.F. lungo la ciclopista verso Cuernavaca, devia verso Tepoztlán, passa per il centro di Cuernavaca e prosegue fino al suo punto più a sud, il sito archeologico di Xochicalco. Da lì ritorna per Alpuyeca e Xochitepec verso i conventi del XVI secolo sulle pendici della sierra vulcanica, dichiarati Patrimonio Mondiale dell'UNESCO. Il ritorno è per Xochimilco. Si consiglia di fare l'escursione in 4 tappe, fermandosi rispettivamente a Amatlán, Cuernavaca, Alpuyeca e Coyocoyoc (o Cuautla).
