Il 10 maggio 1940, le truppe tedesche invadono i Paesi Bassi. Dopo pochi giorni di combattimenti, i Paesi Bassi si arrendono. Iniziano cinque anni di occupazione. Come si comporta l'occupante tedesco e cosa significa questo per la popolazione? Ti adatti, collabori con i dominatori o ti ribelli? E cosa succede a te se sei ebreo? Mettiti nei panni di una delle otto persone per sperimentare quali dilemmi ha portato la guerra. E poi visita la grande sala per vedere l'enorme quantità di materiale militare necessario per liberare i Paesi Bassi.
Una speciale attenzione nella grande sala è naturalmente dedicata alla Battaglia di Overloon durante la Liberazione nel 1944. Il Museo della Guerra di Overloon è quindi anche un monumento ai caduti in questo campo di battaglia. Il Museo della Guerra di Overloon è interessante per tutte le età e anche in caso di maltempo vale la pena visitarlo. Nel caffè del museo puoi goderti un buon pasto e una bevanda. È presente anche un piccolo negozio.
