Een wandeling van bijna 14 km doorheen de landschappen en uiterwaarden tussen de rivier Maas en het kanaal Zuid-Willemsvaart, alsook de Maasdorpen Oud-Rekem, Uikhoven, Kotem en Boorsem.

Gelegen tussen Maasmechelen en Lanaken. Als basis werd gebruik gemaakt van de wandelkaart 'Oud-Rekem' van het Regionaal Landschap Kempen & Maasland (http://www.rlkm.be/)

Startplaats : Parking 18, Kanaalzone z/n te 3620 Oud-Rekem (Lanaken). Op 29 mei 2008 werd Oud-Rekem door Toerisme Vlaanderen verkozen tot "het mooiste dorp van Vlaanderen".

Deze wandeling vond plaats op 18 mei 2020.
