Met flessen, emmers, kruiken of zelfs waterpistolen. Op 29 juni is het in het Spaanse Haro allemaal toegestaan tijdens het traditionele Batalla del vino, ofte wijngevecht. De regels zijn simpel: wiens kleren nog niet rozig of paarsig uitslaan wegens gedrenkt in wijn, mag bekogeld worden met rioja.
Het feest gaat terug tot de zesde eeuw. Na de dood van Felices de Bilibio, een lokale heilige, werden pelgrims aan het einde van hun tocht 'gedoopt' met wijn.
