Thoricus of Thorikos was een stad en later een deme in het zuidelijke deel van het oude Attica, een van de twaalf oorspronkelijke nederzettingen die verenigd waren in de synoikismos die aan Theseus werden toegeschreven om het archaïsche Athene te vormen. Het was later een deme van de phyle van Acamantis. Vlakbij zijn de mijnen van Laurion, waar vanaf het Neolithicum lood en zilver werd gedolven en in de industriële wijk van de nederzetting werd gewerkt. Er is een theater dat dateert uit c. 525-480 v.Chr. De moderne site is Lavrio.
