Jah-Jireh is een particulier initiatief en geen onderdeel van de Christelijke gemeente van Jehovah’s Getuigen in Nederland, noch gelieerd aan andere initiatieven op het gebied van woonzorg buiten haar eigen vestigingen in Rotterdam, Wageningen en Heerlen.
Het huidige gebouw stamt uit 1972 en werd in gebruik genomen als woon en zorgcomplex voor 130 Indische en Molukse ouderen. Het complex kreeg de naam Dennenrust.
Het complex is opgenomen in de fietsroute 'Indische sporen in het Wageningse, een uitgave van de Historische vereniging Oud Wageningn
