Calvet Fonden er en institution, der blev grundlagt for mere end to århundreder siden. Beliggende i Avignon, er denne autonome offentlige institution resultatet af Esprit Calvets vilje.
Som stor samler og fysiokrat af uddannelse, hengav han hele sit liv til medicin og kunst. Drevet af generøsitet og en åndelig stræben, testamenterede han alle sine ejendele til den institution, der skulle bære hans navn.
