Ein wichtiges Ereignis ist die jährliche St.-Godelieve-Prozession zu Ehren der Heiligen Godelieve von Gistel. Das zu ihren Ehren gegründete Slotkloster, die Abtei Ten Putte, ist einer der bekanntesten Wallfahrtsorte in Westflandern.
