La Pietra di Wetz è una montagna del versante nord del Frankenwald e con i suoi 792,7 m s.l.m. è la più alta della Turingia orientale. Si trova presso Brennersgrün nel distretto di Saalfeld-Rudolstadt in Turingia. Su di essa sorge la torre panoramica Altvaterturm.
La Pietra di Wetz si erge al passaggio tra il Frankenwald e le Montagne di ardesia della Turingia nel Parco naturale di Turingia di ardesia/Saale superiore, vicino al confine col Parco naturale del Frankenwald a sud-ovest. La sua cima si trova a 3,3 km a sud del centro abitato di Lehesten. Le frazioni di Lehesten, Brennersgrün e Röttersdorf si trovano rispettivamente a sud-est e a nord-est di essa.
