Lakenhallen i Ypres er en af Europæernes største borgerlige bygninger i gotisk stil. Den oprindelige lakenhal blev bygget mellem 1230 og 1304 og udgjorde en af de tidligste store bygninger nord for Alperne. Klokketårnet er 70 m højt og blev bygget mellem 1200 og 1230 som et tegn på borgernes magt.
