Lakeside est un petit village à l'extrémité sud du lac Windermere dans le Cumbria, en Angleterre. Lakeside se situe sur la péninsule de Furness et faisait partie du Lancashire jusqu'en 1974. Lakeside a été aménagé en tant que point d'embarquement lorsque le Furness Railway a atteint le village en 1869. Les bateaux sur le Windermere n'avaient plus besoin de passer par le Leven et les touristes pouvaient facilement accéder au Lake District ici.
