I 2006 omkom den trettenårige Bram Kimpe ved et farligt sted nær N36. Herefter pressede kvarterets beboere på for en sikrere løsning. Resultatet er en cykel- og fodgængerbro over statsvejen. Designet fra EBS indeholder nogle sving, så cyklisterne kan se den kommende trafik. Med henblik på geometrien og designet er broen udført i stål.
