In Gemeinschaft mit dem Horizon educatief vzw und dem Steunpunt NME Middenkust öffnet die Jugendfarm 'De Lange Schuur' vzw für alle Schulen der Stadt Oostende und der umliegenden Städte ihre Pforten. Unter Begleitung eines Erwachsenen machen die Kinder einen Rundgang durch den Hof und besuchen die Tiere auf der Weide und in den Ställen. Sie dürfen die Tiere auch füttern und berühren. Außerdem lernen sie, wie Brot gebacken wird, wie aus Milch Käse hergestellt wird, wie Hnnig gemacht wird usw.
