In restaurant El Rancho in Chío the food is 100% Canarian . It is located on the TF38 that leads to El Teide .
On the terrace you have a phenomenal view. It is an authentic restaurant with local influences. Very tasty tapas and home-made wine . Very good prices for what you get. We had a tortilla, sausages, Spanish ham, manchego, mix of croquettes, all very tasty.
Can be busy because it is also a stop for tourist buses.
In the garden there is a small museum about the Guanches.
There is a small souvenir shop next to El Rancho restaurant. In this shop you can taste real Canarian delicacies such as: honey, various spreads, banana wine, banana liqueur and nuts.
