La torre de la iglesia original fue dinamitada en octubre de 1918 y al caer destruyó parte del nave de la iglesia. La iglesia fue reconstruida en 1924 en estilo yprense. La obra maestra de la iglesia es el monumento funerario de Jacob de Thiennes (fallecido en 1534), señor de Rumbeke y de su esposa Katharina van Oignies (fallecida en 1545). Además, hay un baptisterio románico en piedra blanca (aprox. siglo XII), un banco de comunión esculpido en madera de roble (1734), un púlpito (1630), algunas pinturas y el notable asiento de oración del conde de Rumbeke. El santo Blas se venera en su fiesta de nombre (3 de febrero).
