De Landespolizeischule Niedersachsen was een politieacademie met als hoofdzetel in Hann. Münden, die van 1946 tot 1997 de politieopleiding en -bijscholing van de landspolitie in Niedersachsen verzorgde. In 1997 werd ze omgevormd tot het opleidingsinstituut van de politie, dat in 2007 overging in de politieacademie Niedersachsen met zetel in Nienburg/Weser. Ondanks de reorganisaties is het onroerend goed in Hann. Münden sinds de Tweede Wereldoorlog de centrale locatie voor de opleiding en bijscholing van de politie Niedersachsen, tegenwoordig als een drukbezochte externe locatie van de politieacademie.
