Es war hier auf einem Parkplatz in der Nähe des Koerselse Heide, als im Sommer 2017 eine Frau von einem Wildschwein angegriffen wurde: ""Als ich nach dem Laufen auf den Parkplatz kam, stand dort ein großes Wildschwein, das sofort angreifen wollte. Bevor ich es bemerkte, lag das Tier auf mir". Es war bereits der dritte Angriff in Folge. Auffällig war, dass die Angriffe bei Personen stattfanden, die mit ihrem Hund im Wald spazieren gingen oder joggen.
