Le Monument à Emilio Castelar, œuvre du sculpteur Eduardo Barrón, est situé au centre de l' ancienne Plaza de Castelar, aujourd'hui Plaza de la Candelaria.
Il honore Emilio Castelar de Cadix, né le 7 septembre 1832 au numéro 1 de la même place. C'était un politicien éloquent.
La statue se compose d'une base carrée avec un socle en pierre et la statue dessus, qui représente le moment d'un discours . Il a été inauguré le 5 octobre 1906 et Segismundo Moret a assisté à l'événement.
