Das Stilfser Joch ist ein Gebirgspass in den Ortler-Alpen. Mit einer Höhe von 2757 m s.l.m. ist das Stilfser Joch der höchste Gebirgspass in Italien und nach dem Col de l’Iseran der zweithöchste asphaltierte Gebirgspass der Alpen. Es verbindet Bormio im Veltlin mit Prad im Vinschgau und trennt den Ortler-Hauptkamm vom Chavalatschkamm. Auf der Westseite mündet auf 2503 m die über den Umbrailpass kommende Straße von Santa Maria ein. Ebenso auf dieser Seite durchfährt man etwas tiefer gelegen mehrere Kurztunnel. An der Ostrampe, die ins Trafoital hinabführt, kann man in Gomagoi in das innere Suldental abzweigen. Auf der Ostseite liegt das Berghotel Franzenshöhe .
