Das Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe ist ein atlantisches Salzwiesengebiet an der Grenze der Niederlande zu Belgien. Der größte Teil des Gebietes liegt in Zeeuws Vlaanderen an der Westerschelde. Sie führt als Meeresarm der Nordsee Salzwasser, das sich mit dem Süßwasser des Flusses Schelde zu Brackwasser vermischt. Das 3550 Hektar große Verdronken Land bildet die größte Salzwiesenlandschaft in Europa. Das Gebiet und die Westerschelde sind als Naturschutzgebiet Westerschelde & Saeftinghe geschützt und Teil des europäischen Natura-2000-Netzwerks.
