You are in one of the best places to enjoy views to the port. You can see much of the bay and appreciate the dimension of the commercial and recreational dock.
In the district of Fontán, a privileged enclave overlooking the sea, more and more homes have been restored with small private viewpoints. Where fishing tackle was once stored, now have become inviting spaces to enjoy the scenery.
You feel like you are in another time, where small details do matter and where the fishing motifs take over the decoration. You can walk through its narrow irregular streets and let yourself be beguiled by beautiful century old houses.
Where once the salting and canning factories were installed today we find slender buildings that share spaces and neighbourhood with the brightly coloured houses.
You can also visit Fontán Fort (XVIII), Morazón Beach and the mysterious Cova d'Anca. If you feel like walking, the Costa Doce hiking trail (PR-G 96) starts up there, which covers the whole of the coastline on foot. The route is of low difficulty and provides several alternatives to travel it. Its section to Cirro Beach is 8.4 km and takes approximately 4 hours.Discover the historic districts in this video
