Kasteel Ter Zinkt in Munte was een echt middeleeuws waterslot, dubbel omgracht en uitgerust met een kerker voor misdadigers. In de 18e
eeuw werd het grotendeels gesloopt, en in de 19e eeuw werden de resten omgevormd tot een lusthof. Dit kasteel is dus een typisch voorbeeld van een romantische kasteel-interpretatie. Het valt helaas enkel van buitenaf te bewonderen.
