Aquest túnel per a vianants passa per sota de la línia de ferrocarril 43. Connecta la ruta du Thier amb la ruta de Durbuy.
El 25 de juliol de 1865 s'obre la línia de ferrocarril 43 entre Melreux i Marloie, i un any més tard, l'1 d'agost de 1866, s'obre la línia entre Angleur i Melreux. A Melreux trobareu l'estació de Hotton-Melreux que connecta amb Lieja-Guillemins. La durada del recorregut és d'aproximadament 1 hora.
