La batalla dels Arapiles fou un enfrontament armat que es va produir el 22 de juliol de 1812, dins de la Guerra del Francès, que va suposar el triomf de les tropes aliades espanyoles, britàniques i portugueses davant les forces napoleòniques, i va frustrar les pretensions franceses de dominar la península Ibèrica.
