La Capella de l'Àngel de la Guarda , també anomenada Monument de San Michele , probablement es remunta a un temple primitiu d'estil romànic tardà, construït a la fi del segle XIII com a lloc de devoció prop d'aquest important encreuament fluvial.
Després de ser parcialment destruïda per l'aigua durant la crescuda d'un riu, va ser reconstruïda al segle XVIII, quan s'hi van afegir pilars reforçats i l'estàtua de San Miguel.
És una capella de planta quadrangular, realitzada en pedra de granit . Es tracta d'una estructura monobloc recolzada sobre columnes i coberta per volta de creueria amb ogives. sud, està tancat i actua com a mur de fonamentació, on es fixa un altar sobre dos prestatges a l'interior i al centre, amb una estàtua policromada de Sant Michele.
