La Capella de São Miguel-o-Anjoc és poc coneguda pels braguesos i va ser construïda originalment entre Carvalheiras i Campo das Hortas, però va ser desmantellada en l'última cambra del segle XIX i traslladada a la seva ubicació actual , juntament amb els retaules d'André Soares .
Aquesta capella era tradicionalment el lloc on es vestien els arquebisbes per a la seva entrada solemne a la Catedral de Braga.
