Die Kapelle von São Miguel-o-Anjoc ist den Einwohnern von Braga kaum bekannt und wurde ursprünglich zwischen Carvalheiras und Campo das Hortas erbaut, aber im letzten Raum des 19. Jahrhunderts abgebaut und zusammen mit den Altarbildern an ihren heutigen Standort verlegt von André Soares.
Diese Kapelle war traditionell der Ort, an dem sich die Erzbischöfe für ihren feierlichen Einzug in die Kathedrale von Braga kleideten .
