La Capilla de São Miguel-o-Anjoc es poco conocida por los bragueses y fue construida originalmente entre Carvalheiras y Campo das Hortas, pero fue desmantelada en el último cuarto del siglo XIX y trasladada a su ubicación actual , junto con los retablos de André Soares.
Esta capilla era tradicionalmente el lugar donde se vestían los arzobispos para su entrada solemne en la Catedral de Braga.
