Vidste du, at Zwalmmolen først blev nævnt i 1040 som vandmølle "Ten Berge". Denne mølle fik for første gang betegnelsen "Sualme Meulen" på et figurativt kort lavet på opdrag af Mgr. Triest (1621-1657). Møllen blev oprindeligt brugt til at male korn og hørfrø. Senere blev der også malet cikorie, majs, ris, tobaks og korn her. Møllen var aktiv indtil 1970.
