Tangebeekskoven er en gammel parkforest med elletræer og poppelplantninger, der gradvist bliver erstattet af blandede løvskove med Alm, Sort elm, Sommereg, Almetræ, Hægebøg, Bøg, Skovpil, Birke, Mispel, Skovkær og Hassel samt Dværgæble.
Overlevere fra parkens tid er en række ikke-indfødte træer og prydtræer, som Himmeltre, Kæmpe sølvgran, Grædende pil, Taks, Hemlock gran, Californisk cypress og Robinia. I urtelaget af Tangebeekdalen findes både typiske skovarter og rugeurter.
