Enghien eller Edingen er en lille by på sproggrænsen sydvest for Halle. Fra det 17. århundrede tilhørte byen den indflydelsesrige familie Arenberg. De lod anlægge en af de smukkeste parker i Europa omkring deres slot. Af slottet står kun tårnet fra den 12. århundredes slotskapel tilbage. Men du kan stadig gå rundt i den smukke park langs blandt andet et kinesisk pavillon fra det 18. århundrede.
Enghien var et centrum for tæppevævning mellem det 15. og 18. århundrede. Nogle smukke tæpper fra den tid kan du beundre på Musée de la Tapisserie. Det er indrettet i Maison de Jonathas, en 16. århundredes herregård bygget omkring en 12. århundredes romansk donjon.
