Du er på kanten af Spei naturuddannelsesområdet. I 1988 plantede skolebørn fra Audenaerde en løvskov her. I de følgende år overtog den kommunale miljøtjeneste også forvaltningen af de naboejendomme. Elementer såsom rækker af beskårne træer, vilde hække, lave hække, høje frugttræer og padde- og amfibiesøer udgør nu landskabet. Græsset bliver kun slået to gange om året for at give flora og fauna mulighed for at blomstre.
