Ved den første tværgade vil du helt sikkert blive ramt af de overflod dekorerede art nouveau-huse til venstre på den anden side. Overraskelsen bliver total, når du opdager, at hele gadesiden af Vanderschrickstreet, uden en eneste undtagelse, er bevaret i denne stil. I løbet af to år byggede Ernest Blérot hele 17 huse. Selvom han arbejdede med de samme basiselementer, er variationen enorm. Drej til venstre ind på gaden, så du kan beundre den modsatte side perfekt fra den venstre fortov. Blérots største aktiv var hans smedearbejde, men også glasvinduerne og sgraffiti er perler. Rækken slutter med café-restauranten La Porteuse d’Eau.
