Zandport, Herentals
Zandporten i Herentals blev opført i det 14. århundrede i Gobertangesten. Det er en rest fra den gamle bymur. Ikonografiske kilder viser denne port som en bygning med afrundede facader mod marken. I det 18. århundrede blev porten dog grundlæggende ombygget, og den fik en lige facade. En del af porten forsvandt derefter under jorden. Alligevel forblev begyndelsen af den afrundede facade synlig bag den nye facade. Porten blev beskyttet som monument i 1936.
