Standardmølle fra 1773 af typen treetage, hvilket betyder, at der var et ekstra loft; 'hel' blev placeret under kornloftet, hvor melet blev malet til mel. Møllen blev i 1921 overført fra Torhout. Møllen blev drevet indtil 1975. Møllen – også kaldet Berghe's mølle efter møllefamilien Vandenberghe - ejes af kommunen Kortemark og er beskyttet siden 14. april 1944.
