Stationet i Geel blev bygget i 1880. Geel betjenes af tog, der kommer fra Antwerpen via Geel til Hamont eller Hasselt.
I 2015 blev linjen gennem stationen elektrificeret. Derfor kører der i dag elektriske tog mellem Mol og Antwerpen. Stationen betjenes dog også stadig af diesellokomotiver. Dette skyldes, at toget til Hamont/Hasselt fra Mol benytter ikke-elektrificerede linjer.
