Vandtårn i Veerle
Dette vandtårn blev bygget i 1974 på ordre fra Pidpa. Den vigtigste funktion af et vandtårn er at være TRYKREGULATOR. Et vandtårn opbevarer en masse vandvolumen på et givet højde niveau, så der altid kan leveres tilstrækkeligt vand med et pålagt tryk i kommunerne. Først pumpes vandet op. Tårnets højde og tyngdekraften skaber et tryk, der garanterer et minimumstryk på hvert punkt i rørnettet.
