Tour d'eau de Veerle
Cette tour d'eau a été construite en 1974 à la demande de Pidpa. La fonction principale d'une tour d'eau est celle de RÉGULATEUR DE PRESSION. Une tour d'eau stocke une masse de volume d'eau à un niveau de hauteur donné, afin que les communes puissent toujours recevoir suffisamment d'eau avec une pression imposée. D'abord, l'eau est pompée vers le haut. La hauteur de la tour et la gravité créent une pression de poussée, qui garantit une pression minimale à chaque point du réseau de conduites.
