Slottet blev bygget i første halvdel af det 15. århundrede af Geldolf I van der Gracht. Tårnet er et typisk middelalderligt donjon. Karetagen er af senere dato. St.-Godelieve-kapellet ved slotsporten stammer fra før 1788. Ved udgravninger i 1984 blev kernebakken fra en tidligere bebyggelse fundet. Slottet er privat ejet og ikke tilgængeligt for turister.
