Die Burg wurde in der ersten Hälfte des 15. Jahrhunderts von Geldolf I. van der Gracht erbaut. Der Turm ist ein typischer mittelalterlicher Donjon. Das Kutschenhaus stammt aus späterer Zeit. Die St.-Godelieve-Kapelle neben dem Burgtor stammt von vor 1788. Bei Ausgrabungen im Jahr 1984 wurde der Kernhügel einer früheren Bebauung gefunden. Die Burg befindet sich im Privatbesitz und ist für Touristen nicht zugänglich.
