Ifølge inskriptionen overindgangen "ste. Ame. J.J. Dierman". Bygningsinskriptioner nævner: "Industriel arkitektur - J. Tytgat ingeniør A.I.G. - Gent anno 1928" og "generale virksomheder Albt. D'Havé-Gent". Vigtig bidrag til den gentiske industrielle bygningskunst i den såkaldte nye saglighed, ved den afbalancerede fordeling af volumenerne i den strakke komposition tilpasset den funktionelle indretning. Mod gaden en glasvæg med vertikaliserende accent gennem murstenslisenen, facade rytmikken afbrudt af beton brystninger og afsluttet af beton hovedstolpe i typisk design fra tyverne.
