Laut der Inschrift über dem Eingang "ste. Ame. J.J. Dierman". Bauaufschriften erwähnen: "Architektur industrielle - J. Tytgat Ingenieur A.I.G. - Gent anno 1928" und "Allgemeine Unternehmen Albt. D'Havé-Gent". Bedeutender Beitrag zur Gentser Industriearchitektur im sogenannten neuen Sachlichkeit, durch die ausgewogene Verteilung der Volumen in der straffen Komposition, angepasst an die funktionale Einrichtung. Auf der Straßenseite verglaste Wand mit vertikalisierendem Akzent durch backsteinene Lisenen, Fassadenrhythmus unterbrochen durch Betonbrüstungen und abgeschlossen durch ein Betonsockel in typischer Gestaltung der zwanziger Jahre.
