According to the inscription above the entrance "ste. Ame. J.J. Dierman." Construction inscriptions mention: "Architecture industrielle - J. Tytgat engineer A.I.G. - Ghent anno 1928" and "entreprises générales Albt. D'Havé-Ghent." Significant contribution to the Ghent industrial architecture in the so-called new objectivity, through the balanced distribution of volumes in the strict composition adapted to the functional layout. On the street side, glazed wall with verticalizing accent through brick pilasters, façade rhythm interrupted by concrete parapets and concluded by concrete main frame in the typical design of the twenties.
