Café De Koophandel har gået fra generation til generation. Historien om café Koophandel begynder med Mieke 'de skæve', der havde to døtre, Emma og Liske. Emma købte caféen i 1920. Emmas datter Gusta stod i 1963 bag baren. I 1988 overtog Maria Goudry caféen, og nu står hendes datter, Sheila Lauwers, bag baren.
