Helt bagest på kirkegården står gravstedet for Gentiel Roelofs. Det er en af de få begravelser i Brugge, der er prydet med et heltemindesmærke. Gravstenen for familien Marreyt, til venstre for kirken, er særligt sørgelig. Ifølge gravskriften handler det om en børnerig familie, hvor – som det så stereotypt står – flere sønner dør for fædrelandet.
