Ganz am Ende des Friedhofs befindet sich das Grab von Gentiel Roelofs. Es ist eines der wenigen Gräber in Brügge, die mit einem Heldenkreuz versehen sind. Das Grabmal der Familie Marreyt, links von der Kirche, stimmt besonders traurig. Der Grabinschrift zufolge handelt es sich um eine kinderreiche Familie, in der – wie es so banal heißt – mehrere Söhne für das Vaterland fielen.
