Completamente in fondo al cimitero si trova la tomba di Gentiel Roelofs. È una delle poche tombe di Bruges ornate con una croce commemorativa per gli eroi. Il monumento funebre della famiglia Marreyt, a sinistra della chiesa, suscita una particolare tristezza. Secondo l'epigrafe, si tratta di una famiglia numerosa, di cui - come viene presentato in modo così stereotipato - diversi figli muoiono per la patria.
