Sas'et ved Dierendonck er en vandbygningskonstruktion bygget omkring 1867, hvor en sluse og en udløbssluse kombineres, og hvor vandforvaltningen kan organiseres i to separate vandnet, henholdsvis til skibsfart og til opdæmning. Sas'et skaber forbindelsen mellem det overordnede skibsfartsvandnet (bestående af Kanalen Dunkerque-Nieuwpoort og IJzer, Lovaart og Kanalen Nieuwpoort-Plassendale) og det underliggende vandløbssystem for opdæmningen af Noordwatering Veurne (blandt andet bestående af Noordvaart eller Veurne-Ambachtvaart, Slijkvaart eller Oostvaart og Koolhofvaart). Sas'et er beskyttet som monument Sas van Dierendonck siden 03-03-2015.
