Station Willebroek blev åbnet den 28. juli 1870 i Willebroek sammen med strækningen Mechelen - Bornem af selskabet Mechelen - Terneuzen på jernbanelinje 54. Den 8. august 1881 blev Willebroek via jernbanelinje 61 forbundet med stationen Boom og stationen Londerzeel. Af dette er kun forbindelsen til Boom på jernbanelinje 61 bevaret som linje 52/2. Siden omstruktureringen af stationen er spor 3 blevet afskaffet og nedrevet.
