Poekebeek-dalen består af typiske græsgange og lunde.
Natuurpunt har genplantet de fleste af træerne i dalen for at støtte deres genopretning. Oversvømmelser er almindelige i området om vinteren , hvilket gør det muligt at observere fugle som vadefugle og vibe. Genopretningen af padder i området blev også taget i betragtning gennem opførelsen af to damme. Som et resultat kan brune frøer og alpine salamander nu ses.
